If you believe that there is one true God who has a son, Jesus Christ, then you are halfway there.

To "Try God," all you need to do is tell Him that you believe in Him, and that He offered His son, Jesus, as a sacrifice in your place.

A sacrifice? Yes, here is another quote from the Bible: "All have sinned and come short of the glory of God." God had to do something to allow us to be worthy of being with Him, so He offered up His son's life as a sacrifice in our place. 2,000 years or so ago, Jesus died on a cross for us and the payment for our sins was made. Then, after three days, He rose from the dead. If you believe He did that, then you are completely ready!

Just say something to God similar to the following, and He will come into your daily life, as well as set aside a place for you with Him for eternity.

Dear God,
I know I have sinned.
I believe Jesus died in my place, to pay for my sins.
I also believe that He rose again. Thank you for that sacrifice.

I want to be forgiven, I want to "Try God,"
and I want to spend eternity with you.

Please forgive me for my sins, and the pain they caused you.
Come be a part of my life as my Savior and my Lord.
